Midwest Young Guns Shootout

One of the coolest races for some young kids has been in the works for some time by Brad Cloutier from Indiana. The day before the Steel Wheels Annual Future Pro Challenge, young racers can race for an Open Title of2008 Midwest Young Guns Shootout Champ. Information below.

- Event date is Dec.13, 2008........time TBD
- SteelWheels BMX in Hobart, IN is hosting the event, check out their website: www.steelwheelsbmx.com
- 3 classes will be available, 10 and under boys, 11-13 boys and 13 and under girls (Possible 2 groups of girls depending on turn out)
- All participants must sign up for their respective class to be eligible
- All riders must have a current ABA membership
- Only 20" bikes are eligible
- $10 entry fee (changed from $5)
- Prizes guaranteed to top 4 in each class
- We will be using the ABA motomaker, 2 moto transfer system
- There will be a Thursday night race, Friday night practice (always off the hook), Saturday night, single point race in conjuction with the Young Guns Shootout and on Sunday we will be hosting the Future Pro Challenge/Double Points race. Last chance for ABA district points.

REDLINE CUP CENTRAL - OCT 25 - UPDATE

The 2008 Redline Cup Central event has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 25th at St. Peters BMX located in St. Peters, MO. Friday night will feature a Flood Relief $10 double points race with certificates going to all riders who make the main. All proceeds will go to St. Peters BMX.

Any rider registered for the Redline Cup Central and wishing to withdraw must do so by 5pm Pacific Time Wednesday, October 22nd by phoning the ABA offices at 480-961-1903.
Regardless of riders withdrawing from the event, all classes, which were created September 14th, will remain and awards will be distributed accordingly.
Rider will race in their age and skill level as of September 14th.
No new registrations will be accepted.

Friday, October 24th - Flood Relief Double Points Race
Registration/Practice: 4:30pm - 6:00pm - On site registration only
Fee: $10 - Double Points
Awards: Certificates to all in Main

Saturday, October 25th - Redline Cup Central Finals
Practice: 11:30am-1:30pm
11:30am - 12:00pm 13 & Under
12:00pm - 12:30pm 14 & Over
12:30pm - 1:00pm 13& Under
1:00pm - 1:30am 14 & Over
Race: 2:00pm
